Hands-on English

This is a category where I would like to share my ideas on hands-on English lessons. That means those tricks that I use to make the English lessons feel like they wouldn’t be English lessons but a tool for experimenting. The natural rule is that each new generation acquires the life skills by playing around, trying out and experimenting. The trick of creating winter in the mid-summer by means of flour snowflakes is a classic example. Children’s wonderful skill of learning by playing I try to introduce in my English methodology.

Discovering

I have more than 15 years of experience teaching English and German and have always focused on cultural awareness and artistic expression as a vehicle for discovering and internalizing a foreign language. I use multimedia and web-based applications to make the learning process more intuitive, where students engage with the language through hands-on activities like science experiments and multimedia art projects in addition to structure and conversation. Here I share my ideas on the way. The password for entering: STAY OPEN-MINDED.
