This is a lesson I did some year ago, where the topic was about Friendship, so I let my students make a stop-motion video about empathy. It was their interpretation how to do that
STEP 1: Watch an animated video about differences between sympathy and empathy, which is based on a famous researcher’s Brene Brown’s TED talk. (I find this video excellent for different topics related to relationships).
STEP 2: After a task about the video the students start creating their own stop-motion videos. To help them plan you can use this handout.
STEP 3: Make a stop-motion film festival with popcorn and voting for the best movie.
